Austin BCycle now known as MetroBike (operated by Bike Share of Austin) is a public bike share system that rolled into Austin in December 2013. The system is owned by the City of Austin, has Capitol Metro as a major stakeholder, and is operated by non-profit Bike Share of Austin. From the beginning we have been setting ridership records thanks to events like SXSW and ACL. There are currently 75 stations around downtown Austin with over 700 bikes in the docks.
